For tourist other than Pilgrms, Limbu Cultural Trek is considered in that region for a week-long trek passes through ethnic villages of Taplejung such as; Phurunga (or Phurumbu), Limkhim, Khewang, Tellok, PhawaKhola and Mamankhe. The trek to Pathivara started with 20-minute driving from Phungling Bazaar to Suketar and again driving 1-2 hours from Suketar to Sano Phedi. After this you can walk about 4 hours from Sano Phedi to reached in Pathivara.For air ways Suketar Airport (2840 m) at Suketar connected with Kathmandu and Biratnagar by scheduled flight. For trekking throug trils you have to passes through Deurali, Ramite Danda, Chhatedhunga, Bhalugaunda and Phedi before reaching pathivara temple. Food & lodging and accommodation facilities and services are available in temple premises.
Step by Step Trek
Step First: Kathmandu to Suketar flight or take vehicle to Suketar.Step Second: Surketar to Deurali to Phedi
Step Third: Trek to Pathivara from Phedi in 3-4 hours and back to Phedi 2-3 hours
Step Fourth: Phedi to Surketar
Step Five: Back to home town or Kathmandu.
