If you choose to use your dial pad to check the name of the SIM Card owner name then you have to follow these simple steps which I've summed up below.
Check the registered name of NTC Simcard using Keypad

Check the registered name of NTC Simcard using SMS :
Sometimes an error may occur to check the owner's name and the number of the Sim card you are using. Or, you may forget the number you have to dial to request then, in that time you can check out the registered person's name for the given sim card is given by SMS service. If you want to use your SMS to check the name of the SIM Card owner name then you have to follow these simple steps which I've summed up below.
Step 1: Open up the Message app on your device where you get messages receiving and sending from the NTC Simcard you are using. Create a new message there tapping on '+' sign of on 'New message'.
Step 2: Type the code “scode” on the text area and send it to 1415
Step 3: After that, you will get the name for whom the SIM card was registered along with the re-set of the security code
It would not show the SIM Card Owner's name directly in the first place, at first, it resets your Password and shows the name of the person who has owned/registered the SIM Card. Then, prompting up the message for successful reset of your Password. Following these procedures makes you feel tedious and hence it's found that SMS is not a direct way of finding the owner of the SIM Card where you have to do more hustle especially when you are doing it for the first time.
How to register your Simcard to your name?
I have already mentioned that we may not are using Sim card register to our own name mostly it registered under our parent's name, family members, relatives or friends, or anybody. But you are using it for a long and you have proof of that. Then, you can re-register to your own name. Say, you are using the number not registered in your name for your bank account details and transaction purpose. With that proof, you can change your NTC card owner name to yours.
When you found that the SIM card you are using doesn't show your name in the owner's name then you can now transfer SIM ownership to your own names. You just have to follow the steps below !!
First, you have to Visit the NTC office to change the SIM owner name with your valid issued by Government like the Citizenship, Passport, or Driving license.
If you have a postpaid SIM card, you need to have the Citizenship copy of the original owner and 2 auto-size photos.
And if you have Prepaid which differs from the different counters. Some Ntc staffs demand the owner’s ID strictly while others do it without such ID.
