How To Activate Namaste Pay Offline

The process to activate Namaste pay for the first time is very simple and clear. All you need is a mobile phone, your governmental-issued certificate like Citizenship card, Passport, All the process can be done within five minutes. So, let's move ahead.

1. Dial *500# on your mobile phone which will lead you to the next steps.
2. After that press 1 to register
3. In the next step you will have to enter your name, I mean the first name. After you are done typing your name, click on the send button.
4. Here, you need to enter your last name and then press send button.
5. In this step, you need to add your date of birth. YEAR-MONTH-DAY. Make sure it is in the A.D format.
6. Now in this step enter your gender. Press 1 for Male, 2 for female, and 3 for other
7. In this step, you will be given 3 options to verify your identity. One for passport, two for driving license, and three for citizenship. Pick any one according to your choices.
8. Now be careful in this step. Here you have to enter your identity card number carefully (Passport, Driving license, Citizenship)
9. In the next step, you will get an option to check all provided details before submitting for the final process. If it is all correct then press confirm.

As I said, it won't take more than five minutes to complete this all process. After you are done submitting all the details, they will message you with your OTP code. Remember your OTP code and head back to your phone and dial *500#. After that enter the provided OTP code on the screen. Finally, in the final step, you will get an option to change your OTP code, which also works as a password in the Namaste Pay app.

That's all you need to do for the registration. After you are done registration, you can now again dial *500# to utilize the available services without any charge. Now you can directly send your mobile balance to your desired bank account. You can also directly top up your number from your destination bank. 

I have seen many people mistakenly transferred money into their phone number instead of esewa or other payment gateway services.
